Stephanie and Mike got married with their closest family and friends (400 guests!!!) on a beautiful, sunny day in August 2019 and to say this was one of our favourite weddings we’ve worked on, would be an understatement! It was stunning, perfect and everyone had a blast!
We met Stephanie in May 2018, when she was in the bridal party for our clients Stephanie and Adam.
Most weddings the morning consists of getting ready, breakfast/brunch, trying to relax before going to the ceremony space, and lots of nerves. However for Stephanie, there was what felt like a whole day’s worth of events planned for before the ceremony alone!
The day started off early, really early, with the bride-to-be and her bridesmaids getting their hair/ makeup done and champagne toasts to go around. While at another location, Mike and his groomsmen were also getting ready and enjoying some champagne toasts to celebrate.
Once Stephanie slipped into her wedding gown, she had a first look with her dad and then her girls came in for a first look too, and their expressions really say it all. With Stephanie and her girls ready they then made their way downstairs to the big party happening below!
The main floor of the house, and spilling outside into the backyard was full of guests, celebratory drinks and amazing food. All you could hear was laughter, the clinking of glasses and the incredible music of the Zaffe. This went on for quite a while as it was great weather to dance and celebrate.
Upon the arrival of the Rolls Royce, scheduled to pick up the bride and her father, it was time to bring the party to the Cathedral of the Transfiguration, it was time to get Stephanie and Mike married!
This Cathedral was like nothing we have seen before, it was grand, stunning and the perfect space for the ceremony. One of those places where it’s even hard to capture the beauty and magic in photos.
After the ceremony the Bride, Groom and Bridal party headed to the Aga Khan Museum for some group and couple shots. As you can see by the pictures, this was yet another stop with an incredible view and backdrop.
While they were at the Museum, enjoying the break before Cocktail Hour and the Reception, the Perfect Planners team was busy at Hazelton Manor setting everything up. From setting the place cards on the tables, and placing napkins, to setting up and lighting the candles, there was a lot to do but it paid off. Just look at how STUNNING the space turned out.
While the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, and the delicious Oyster Bar that was setup, we snuck Stephanie and Mike into the reception hall to get a first look of the room all ready. As you can see by their reactions, they totally loved it.
The reception kicked off with grand entrances to which the bridal party and parents of the bride and groom danced their hearts out. The bride and groom’s entrance however was extra special because the Zaffe returned again to get the party started, and did the party ever get started! The dancing and celebrating continued all night long and everyone had a blast. It will forever be one of the most memorable weddings we have had the pleasure of coordinating.
The Details
Mike had a custom suit made by Indochino with the wedding date stitched onto the lining.
